LG might hold the first big press conference at CES, but as usual, the Korean tech giant can’t resist revealing several products before the event.
The announcements are a mix of new and interesting offerings, with a couple of standout additions, particularly these plant lamps.
Details such as pricing and availability are still unclear ahead of LG’s scheduled January 6th presentation. The company has unveiled two distinct designs: one is a “modern floor-standing lamp design,” and the other is a “nature-inspired side table design for indoor gardening.” Both products aim to integrate plant care into living room furniture.
The lamp version features LED grow lights and a 1.5-gallon water tank for automated watering, controlled via LG’s ThinQ app. This ensures plants stay hydrated, even when users are away for up to a week.
Information on the “appliance” model is sparse, but LG emphasizes that it offers a compact, multifunctional home gardening experience, highlighting their continued commitment to providing products that suit various lifestyles.
These products will complement LG’s existing plant tech lineup, including the Tiiun grow system launched in 2022.
